The 10th Magic of Mentoring event was hosted by The Mentoring Partnership on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at PPG Paints Arena. Hunter Associates is proud of the long-time support provided to The Mentoring Partnership and pleased to be a corporate sponsor of the evening.
The event, held only every other year, celebrates mentoring in Western Pennsylvania and honors the many programs, mentors and supporters. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and the work of artist, Cody Sabol. Sabol, a “speed painter”, created a Penguins-themed piece of art showcased in the silent auction. Guests also had the opportunity to take photos with the 2017 Stanley Cup Championship Banner.
The Mentoring Partnership provides their services to more than 20,000 kids in the region. The Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern PA helps children by delivering resources to mentoring programs throughout the Pittsburgh area. They promote the importance of quality mentoring, present best practices and research and deliver training, technical assistance and professional development for the staff and volunteers of local programs.
