On October 11, 2015, Pace School held their annual fundraiser. Hunter Associates was pleased to sponsors this year’s event, Taste for Pace. The event offered an afternoon of fresh food and drink samplings and cooking demonstrations by local chefs.

“We are pleased to offer continued support to educators who strengthen our community,” says Brad Marshall, CFO at Hunter Associates. Hunter Associates has been a long-time supporter of Pace School. Taste for Pace allows Pace to raise awareness and financial support to further their mission of helping children with chronic and complex educational and mental health issues.

Hunter Associates also sponsored the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council’s 2015 Leaders for Literacy Luncheon. This event was held at the Fairmont Hotel on October 22, 2015. GPLC provides education for adults in the Pittsburgh area struggling with basic literacy skills. The proceeds from this event make possible free classes in reading, math, GED preparation, computers and workplace skills.

Pace redefines the learning experience for children with Autism and emotional/behavioral challenges. On a daily basis, Pace programs blend special education with therapeutic support to give every child an opportunity to thrive.

Rather than educate the workforce of tomorrow, Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council educates the workforce of today.
